First class since 1834
For over 180 years our family business has been tailoring to the outfitting needs of folk from across the Medway Towns and far beyond! By passing our expertise down through seven generations of our family, we are confident that we offer the experience and close attention to details that enable us to provide you with a hire suit for every eventuality.
Gerald and his staff know that our customers want the right suit for the right occasion and stock a wide range of garments, from timeless classics to contemporary pieces. Combined with our on site fitting and adjustment service, we ensure that everyone leaves with a perfect fitting outfit.
Our flexible and attentive wedding suit service allows wedding parties to match their bridal colour scheme with their neckwear and waistcoats. We can have neckwear made-up from your choice of fabric or will find the nearest colour and pattern match.
Black Tie and formal occasions are admirably catered for with our collection of Evening Wear, all kept in stock in our shop, and for the finishing touches to your outfit, we also hire a range of shoes, shirts, hats and accessories.

Know your suit cuts
The suit jacket cut impacts on the look you are trying to achieve, adding different character.
They gently cut away at the front and go to full length at the back. Well fitted tails should reach down to the back of the knee.
A minimal style jacket with a straight cut, just above the knee. More formal than a Suit, not as traditional as Tails.
Sometimes known as a Lounge Suit, has the shortest length and the least fuss. The ideal all-rounder.
Dinner Suits or Tuxedos. Distinguished by the inclusion of Satin, normally on the lapels and in a stripe down the side of the trousers.
